Ivey Ricketson was born in the Coffee co. area of GA sometime between 1865-66. Parentage unknown, but in the 1870 census he was listed in the home of Riley Wright and Lurany Ricketson Wright. And then in 1880 as Ivy Ricketson with Step-father Riley Wright.
He married Nancy Lou Pittman and fathered at least three sons: Charlie Arthur Ricketson, John Preston Ricketson, and Marvin Ricketson.
Place and date of death unknown. In March of 1935, he was possibly living in the Fairfax area of Ware Co., GA. I am unsure if the Telmore Cemetery is Ivey's finally resting place.
