On Saturday, October 9, 2010, my dear mother, Elouise Mallory Baker, passed away at age ninety-two from complications of a stroke.

Mom was born December 22, 1917 in Murray, Utah to Alfred and Erma Mallory. On February 2, 1940, she married Thomas Allan Baker.

Mom worked hard but also loved to have fun. Mom loved to dance, travel, and enjoyed her rose garden, latch-hooking rugs and word search games. She loved the Utah Jazz and the Colorado Rockies.

She is survived by her daughter Colleen (David) Beazer, eight grandchildren, twenty great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild. She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, son Richard, and sisters Alice and Helen.

Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, October 14, 2010 at 1:00 p.m. at Jenkins-Soffe Mortuary, 4760 South State Street (100 East). A viewing will be held one hour prior to the services.
Interment at the Murray City Cemetery.
