She was employed in home health care in private homes in Portland and Jay County for many years. She was a member of the West Walnut Street Church of Christ.
Born August 4, 1920 in Jay County, she was the daughter of Philo and Minnie (Wallace) Bailey.
Surviving are three sisters, Betty J. Bailey and Mrs. Richard (Mary Jane) Clear, RR 6, both of Portland and Mrs. John (Phyllis) Hall, Goshen; and three nephews.
Services are set for 2 pm Sunday in the Portland Chapel of the Williamson and Spencer Funeral Home with Bruce Phillips officiating. Burial will be in Green Park Cemetery, Portland.
Friends may call at the funeral home from 2 to 8 pm Saturday and prior to services Sunday.
Memorials may be made to the West Walnut Street Church of Christ Memorial Fund or to the Jay County Cancer Fund.
