Edmund C. Kluba – Edmund Kluba died at his home in Webb City, Mo. Saturday, September 2, 2000. Ed was born November 5, 1913 in Washington, Mo. He was preceded in death by one brother and two sisters. He and his wife of 63 years, Anna, moved to Webb City, where he was the manager of Elder Mfg. Co. In Carl Junction and Webb City for 40 years, retiring in 1978. He was an active golfer and fisherman, and was involved with the Lions Club, Knights of Columbus and the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Webb City. He is survived by his wife, Anna Kluba, of the home. He had five children, Tom Kluba and Mike Kluba of California, Judy Johnson, of Carl Junction, Angela Lowe and Coleen Wilson of Joplin, and their spouses. There were 13 grandchildren, six great-grandchildren and one sister. Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, September 5, 2000 at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Webb City. Father Rick Jones will officiate. The family will receive friends at a prayer service, followed by a visitation from 6:00 to 7:00 p.m. Monday at Simpson Funeral Home, Webb City, Mo. Burial will be at Mt. Hope Cemetery, Webb City, Mo.
