Anna Kluba, nee Monzyk beloved wife of Charles Kluba, entered into rest at the St. Francis Hospital on Friday, October 19, 1945, at 11:05 A.M. after a long illness. Mrs. Kluba was born in New Haven on April 13, 1876, and at the time of her death had attained the age of 69 years, 6 months, and 6 days. She was baptized in New Haven; she received her early education in the Clover Bottom parochial school and was confirmed there. After school years she worked in St. Louis. On January 21, 1907, she was united in marriage to Charles Kluba, and the couple made their permanent home in Washington. The union was blessed with five children, all of whom survive her departure. Mrs. Kluba, through her life-lone residence in Washington, established a wide acquaintance leaves many friends to mourn her departure will be deeply missed by her family and many loved ones. She was a member of St. Francis Borgia church, the married Ladies Sodality, and the Third Order of St. Francis. Mrs. Kluba was preceded in death by two brothers and two sisters, Theodore Monzyk, Theophil Monzyk, Sister Mary Hedwig, and Mrs. Albert Guzzi. Surviving is her bereaved husband; three daughters, Mrs. Herman Leykam of Washington; Mrs. Andrew Kruse of Denver, Colo.; Mrs. Louis Eiserman of Plattsmouth, Nebr.; two sons, Alphonse of Washington and Frank Monzyk of Clover Bottom; one sister, Agnes Peitzuch of Rosebud; 13 grandchildren, sisters-in-law, Nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends. Funeral services were held at St. Francis Borgia Church Monday, October 22, 1945. Interment was made in the church cemetery.

FUNERAL SERVICES FOR MRS. CHARLES KLUBA HELD MONDAY MORNING - Anna Kluba, nee Monzyk, wife of Charles Kluba, died at St. Frances Hospital Friday, October 19, 1945 at 11:05 a.m., after a long illness. Funeral services were held at the Otto & Co., mortuary and St. Francis Borgia Church Monday morning, October 22. Burial was made in the church cemetery. Mrs. Kluba was born in New Haven on April 13, 1876 and at the time of her death had attained the age of 69 years, 6 months and 6 days. She was baptized in New Haven and received her early education in the Clover Bottom parochial school and was confirmed there. After school years she worked in St. Louis. On January 21, 1907 she was united in marriage to Charles Kluba and the couple made their permanent home in Washington. This union was blessed with five children, all of whom survived her departure. Mrs. Kluba was preceded in death by two brothers, and two sisters, Theodore Monzyk, Theophil Monzyk, Sister Mary Hedwig and Mrs. Albert Guzzi. Surviving is her husband; three daughters, Mrs. Herman Leykam of this city, Mrs. Andrew Kruse of Denver, Colo., Mrs Louis Eiserman of Plattsmouth, Nebr.; two sons, Alphons of this city and Edmund Kluba of Webb City, Mo.; two brothers John Monzyk of this city and Frank Monzyk of Clover Bottom; one sister, Agnes Piezuch of Rosebud; 13 grandchildren, sisters-in-law, Brothers-in-law, and nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

CARD OF THANKS - We wish to thank our friends and neighbors for the many acts of kindness and expressions of sympathy extended to us at the death of my dear wife and our loving mother, Mrs. Anna Kluba. We especially wish to thank the Hospital Sisters, the Franciscan Fathers, those who sent floral and spiritual bouquets, the pall bearers, and those who donated their automobiles for the funeral service.
