Mrs. Adams Is Called To Rest Today
Mrs. Rose Adams, wife of Dr. Adams, mechano therapist, of 517 N. Ninth street,
passed away at 3 o'clock this morning. Mr. Adams had been in poor health for
some time and had recently undergone an operation in hope of benefiting her
health. She rallied and for a time her condition was encouraging.
Mrs. Adams was born in Maribel, Manitowoc county, on September 5, 1864, and
later moved to the city of Manitowoc where she resided for many years. In 1882
she was united in marriage to Adolph Pilger, who preceded her in death. Eighteen
years ago she was united in miarrage to Dr. Adams, and three years later they
moved to this city, and the doctor became a practicing therapist in Sehbogyan.
The decedent was a quiet and unassuming woman, greatly taken up with her home.
She was a devout Christian and a member of the Grace Episcopal church and the
Ladies' Guild.
She is survived by her husband and three children, E.G. Pilger, Mrs. Carl Hanson,
of Manitowoc, and Mrs. Roy Dewey, of Chicago.
Services will be conducted from the Ballhorn Funeral Temple at 10 o'clock and at
10:30 a.m. from the Grace Episcopal church Monday, the Rev. Father S. Parker
Curtiss officiating, with interment in the family lot at Manitowoc.

Mrs. Thomas Adams, Former County Resident, Dies At Sheboygan
Mrs. Thomas Adams, formerly a resident of this city, passed away this morning
at her home in Sheboygan. The deceased was born in Maribel, Sept. 5, 1864 and
in 1882 married Adolph Pilger who preceded her in death 28 years ago. In 1910
she married Dr. Thomas Adams who survives her. Mr. and Mrs. Adams removed to
Sheboygan from this county 15 years ago. Besides the husband, three children,
Mrs. Carl Hanson, and E.G. Pilger of this city, and Mrs. Roy Dewey of Chicago,
two brothers, Wenzel Skwor of Kellnersville and Joseph Skwor of Bessmer,
Michigan, three sisters, Mrs. Wenzel Elmers of Denmark, Mrs. Frank Kolsavage
of Bessmer, Michigan, and Mrs. Joseph Cherf, Antigo, as well as a number of
grand children, survive.
Funeral services will be held Monday at ten o'clock from the Episcopal Grace
church at Sheboygan, and the body will then be brought to this city for
burial. Services will be held at 2 p.m. from the Evergreen chapel with Father
Curtiss officiating.
