GULF SHORES - John R. "Bob" McClusky, a Gulf Shores resident, died Thursday, Nov. 16, 2000, at an area hospital. He was 67.
McClusky, who was a fire-control technician in the U.S. Navy, was a real-estate broker and member of the board of directors for Zooland Animal Parks and Gulf Shores Museum. He was also a published poet and member of the Rotary Club of Gulf Shores.
Survivors include his wife, Carolyn McClusky of Gulf Shores; his mother, Ollie B. McClusky of Foley; three brothers, Don McClusky of San Antonio, and Joseph L. McClusky and C.A. McClusky, both of Gulf Shores; and three sisters, Audrey Peed of Foley, Constance Wetter of Fairhope, and Holly Hancock of Orange Beach.
Visitation will be from 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Monday at Baldwin Funeral Home, followed by graveside services at 2 p.m. in Pine Rest Memorial Park in Foley.
