Steve Palone's Rites Saturday
Steve Palone, 89, a native of Stilwell died Wednesday morning.
Mr. Palone was born in Stilwell, November 30 1877 the son of the late Frank and Ruth (Ketcher) Palone.
Mr. Palone is survived by his wife the former Mrs. Elizabeth "Bettie" (Rider) Palone of Stilwell. He also leaves his three sons, Mr. Frank Palone of Stilwell, Mr. Ezekiel Palone of Joplin MO, and Ernest Palone of Klamath Falls OR. Also he leaves his four daughters Mrs. Arvie Smith of Klamath Falls OR, Mrs. Vera Chirstensen of Klamath Falls OR, Mrs. Ruth J. Charles of Klamath Falls OR, and Mrs. Bernice Ball of Stilwell.
Mr. Palone also leaves his 26 Grandchildren, Madeline Baker, Clebert Hudson, Stella Shelton, Kenneth Hudson, Jeanie Hudson, Raymond Palone, Edgar Palone, Harold Palone, Euphemia Hakenworth, Louella Northcutt, Rowena Ledbetter, Eileen McLeod, Ernestine Christensen, Lonnie Chirstensen, Sandra Christensen, Dearl Baker, Wanda Flynn, Jack Ball, Bonnie-Joe Ball, Viola Dold, Betty Ball, Maxine Clinton, Douglas Johnston, Patricia Palone, and Mae Beth Palone; and several great grandchildren.
He was also the father of the late Albert T. Palone who predeceased him on November 2 1957, and infant daughter Edith Palone. He was also the grandfather of the late Wanda Waterbury, and Bruce Waterbury
He was the brother of the late Thomas Palone, Jesse Palone, Jennie Stansill, Charles Palone, Zeke Walkingstick, and Ruth Glenn.
Service will be held at 2PM Saturday at the Roberts Funeral Chapel with Bro. Ross O'Neal officiating . Internment will be in the Piney Cemetery Stilwell.
