"Mrs Thomas Kenniston...Mrs Delilah Wallace Kenniston, 85, of Titusville died yesterday at 10:15am in Titusville Hospital where she had been a patient for the last 10 days. She was born in Spartansburg on March 30, 1884, the daughter of William A and Ida Mae Cole Wallace. She married Thomas L Kenniston on September 18th, 1910, at Grand Valley. He died May 10, 1959. Mrs Kenniston was a member of the Kingdom Hall Jehovah Witness in Titusville. She is survived by five daughters, Mrs Sidney (Winifred) Winans of Spartansburg, Mrs Dorothea Carpenter of Erie, Mrs Hazel Barker of Titusville, Mrs Maxine Yost of Tucson, Ariz, and Mrs Lawrence (Betty) Murdock of Spartansburg; four sons, Kenneth Kenniston of Erie, Rex Kenniston of Corry, Ted Kenniston of Union City, and William Kenniston of Titusville; 30 grandchildren and 32 great-grandchildren. A daughter, Mrs Annette Emerson, and her five children perished in a home fire in 1947. Three sisters, seven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren also died previously. Friends may call at the Gordon B Garrett Funeral Home, Titusville...Interment will be in Rose Hill Cemetery, Spartansburg."
