Floyd – Funeral services were held at the M.E. church at Floyd for John Rademacher, who died suddenly Sunday morning at his home here.
Mr. Rademacher was born in Germany August 15, 1857. When 22 years of age, he came to America, going first to St. Louis, later settling at Minonk, Illinois, where he resided 30 years.
In 1916 he moved to Iowa, settling on a farm just west of Floyd, where he lived for four years and retiring to Floyd in 1920.
He leaves his widow, four sons and three daughters 31 grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
