Funeral services for Mrs. Addie Busby, 97, of Winnsboro will be 4pm Sunday October 3, 2010 at the chapel of Gill First National Funeral Home with Rev. Dee Boyde and Rev William Busby. Interment will follow at Ogden Cemetery near Liddieville.

Mrs. Busby was born on December 14, 1912 died Wednesday September 29, 2010 at her residence after an extended illness.

She was a homemaker and enjoyed fishing, a member of Temple Baptist Church; last survivor of seventeen siblings.

She is preceded in death by her parents George M. and Martha Sasser Dean, husband Columbus Busby, Sr and a son George "Son" Busby, Jr.

Survivors include her daughters Ann Russell and Louise Butler both of Winnsboro, Sue Long and husband Duane of Farmerville; daughter-in-law Elaine Busby of Mangham; grandchildren and great-grandchildren Joe and Leah Easterling, David and Shelly Easterling and their son Cody Easterling, Cassie and Kelly Barrow and their children Tyler Wright, Georganah and William Barrow, Beth and Deon Edwards and their sons Cole and Kyle Edwards, Chris and Betsy Busby and their children Christopher, Bryce and Lauren Busby, Tiffany Smith, Darrell Smith Drew Smith, Andy and Carrie Buxton and their child Lindsey Buxton, Rodney and Christy Buxton and their son, Albert Buxton, Jarrett Buxton and Ashley Humphries and their daughter Brittany Buxton, Randy and Chris Lamkin and their children Delvyn and Kaden Lamkin, Mandy Butler, Eddie and Liz Toney and children Nicole, Aaron and Colleen Toney; special nephews J. W. Dean, Joe Dean, Robbie Dean, Mackie Cobb and Billy Cobb; special neice Inora Cobb and numerous nieces and nephews.

Great Grandsons will serve as pallbearers.

Friends may call for visitation on Saturday after 5pm until 8pm.
