Sarah was the daughter of Sallie Lefkowitz and Sigmund Goldberg. She was born in Hungary , came to America and Married Louis Baumwoll. She was the mother of Morris Baumwoll in 1895 and Edith on March 3, 1899
She died tragically at the age of 29
Her younger sister Gittle married her widower Louis, and was step mother to Morris and Edythe, and then bore Sally, Lil Harold and Flo. and she too died at age 29 of tuberculosis for which at the time there was no known cure.
