Leaphart, Michael was born August 15, 1795 and died April 9, 1876 at the age of 80 years, seven months and 24 days in Lexington Co. SC. He was a Lutheran all his life and was the last surviving member of the first council elected to serve St. Andrews Church in Lexington. His wife of 53 years died 12 days ago.
