Bernice QUINN, 82, of ExtendaCare Nursing Home, Rochester, and formerly of 1618 Wallace Ave., died at 9:15 a.m. Friday at ExtendaCare Nursing Home where she had been a resident since Nov. 19, 1996. She had been ill for five years.
She was born in Rochester to Curtis and Margaret "Ellie" EYTCHESON CROUSSORE. On April 16, 1932 in Rochester she married Claude E. QUINN who died Feb. 21, 1992. She was a homemaker and lived in Rochester her entire life. She attended Hillcrest Baptist Church.
Surviving are two daughters Mrs. Robert (Margaret) RITTER, and Mrs. Donna SHELTON, both of Rochester; three grandsons, Richard [RITTER] and Greg RITTER, both of Bristol, and Walker CONLEY, Rochester; six great granddaughters; one sister, Mrs. Josephine BLUE, Rochester, and one brother, Curtis CROUSSORE, Rochester.
Preceding in death were three sisters, Edith MERRILL, Mary WILSON and Clarabelle THOMPSON, and three brothers, Jim [CROUSSORE], Harley [CROUSSORE] and Steve CROUSSORE.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Monday at Foster and Good Funeral Home with the Rev. Fred SHELTON officiating. Burial will be in the Rochester IOOF Cemetery. Friends may call from 4-6 p.m. Sunday and after noon Monday.
