Tillman Register, 67, of Meadowdale Trailer Park, Dublin, died Sunday night in a local hospital. Services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday in the chapel of Townsend Funeral Home. The Rev. Archie Griffith will officiate and burial will be in Cedar Grove Methodist Cemetery.
A life-long resident of Laurens County, Mr. Register was a retired employee of the State Department of Transportation. He was a Baptist and his parents were the late Thomas J. Register and the late Ida White Register of Laurens County.
Survivors include two sons, Eugene Register of Houston, Texas, and Johnny Mack Register of Augusta; two daughters, Anne Alligood and Madge Stewart, both of Dublin; two brothers, Talf Register of DeLand, Fla., and Herman Register of Glenwood; a sister, Cathy Cherry of Alamo; and 11 grandchildren.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 7:30 - 9 p.m., Tuesday.
