Services for Wesley Taft Register, 75, of DeLand, Fla., will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday in the chapel of Carpenter Funeral Home in DeLand. The Rev. Jesse Wooten will officiate and burial will be in Oakdale Cemetery in DeLand.
A native of Dublin, Mr. Register had lived in DeLand since 1956, was a retired farmer and a Baptist. He died Tuesday in a Daytona Beach, Fla., hospital.
Survivors include his wife, Audrey Stafford Register of DeLand; four daughters, Brenda Fleischbein of Ormond Beach, Fla., Dale Husted of DeLand, Gail Buddock of Wolf Point, Mont., and Barbara Preising of Cape Coral, Fla.; five sons, Leon Register of Lake Como, Fla., Dennie Register and Marvin Register, both of DeLand, Jimmie Register of New Smyrna Beach, Fla., and Wayne Register of DeLeon Springs, Fla.; a sister, Cassie White of McRae; a brother, Herman Register of Soperton; 15 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
