Mrs. Mandra Nates, 79 died at the home of her son Thomas C. Nates near Jackson Creek, yesterday afternoon at 3 o'clock. funeral services will be held at Jackson Creek Baptist Church this afternoon at 3 o'clock and will be conducted by the Reverend C.W. Jones the Pastor, interment will be in the churchyard. Mrs. Nates was a woman with many lovable characteristics and she will be missed by those who knew her. She is survived by two sons, Thomas C. Nates of Richland County and Willie F. Nates of Spartanburg and by one daughter, Mrs. Mamie Dennis of Richland County.
Her grave is in Jackson Creek Cemetery, however, it is unmarked.
