Rolda married Ezeriah Pepper in Lawrence county, MS May 11, 1827. For a time the Pepper family moved to Union County, AR where her husband was a Justice of the Peace. Around 1859 they moved to the Walker Community where they lived the rest of their lives. Rolda died sometime around 1889 and was buried beside her husband in Transport Cemetery.
She was the mother of eight children:

3. Elisha Pepper
4. James Pepper
5. Elizabeth Pepper
6. Mary Ann Pepper
7. Athelia Geneva Pepper
8. Theodosia Pepper
