Ten Year Old Boy Buried at Evans Chapel
Little Billy John House was buried in the Evans Chapel Cemetery last Friday. He was the ten-year-old son of Rev. and Mrs. Garnet House, and died in the hospital in Nacogdoches after a sickness of several weeks. It seems to have been a throat trouble. Services were conducted by Presiding Elder Guy F. Jones of Huntsville, assisted by Rev. Morgan of Arp, who was president of Lon Morris College at the time Garnet House was attending school. There were some twenty preachers present, such was the esteem in which the father of the boy is held among his fellow laborers. Rev House is son of Mr. and Mrs. John House of Evans Chapel and Mrs House is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Bruzer Simons of the same community.
