Mrs. P.J. "Harriett" Baker

SHREVEPORT, LA - Services for Mrs. P.J. "Harriett" Baker, 85, will be held at 11:30 a.m. Wednesday, July 1, 1992 at Rose-Neath's Southside Chapel. Officiating will be Rev. Wayne Reeves, pastor of Parkview Baptist Church. Burial will be at Forest Park Cemetery.

Mrs. Baker died Sunday, June 28. 1992 at Schumpert Medical Center after a lengthy illness. She was born in Bossier City, La., was a homemaker and a member of the Parkview Baptist Church. Mrs. Baker was associated with the Shreveport Joy Fund for 42 years and she was a charter member of the Eastern Star, Sunset Chapter #227.

She was preceded in death by her husband, P.J. Baker, Sr.; two sons, P.J. Baker, Jr. and W.B. Baker.

Survivors include one son, Francis Baker and wife, Dee of Shreveport; nine grandchildren; eighteen great grandchildren and five great-great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Kenny Odom, Brett Baker, Joe May, W.C. Mackey, C.K. Webb and Louis Ketchums.
