Mrs. Mary S. Haynes
Funeral services will be held Saturday at 4 p.m. at the Rose-Neath Funeral Home Chapel for Mrs. Mary Sorrell Haynes, 68, of 2110 Boss St., who died Friday at Willis-Knighton Hospital after an extended illness.
A resident of Shreveport 45 years, she was a native of Bossier Parish. She was a member of Bethel Baptist Church.
She is survived by her husband, Louie Haynes; four daughters, Mrs. W.A. Roberts Sr., Mrs. E.E. Bland Jr., Mrs. L.S. Conover and Mrs. W.T. McGinnis, all of Shreveport; one sister, Mrs. Paul Baker Sr. of Shreveport; seven grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
The Rev. Louis Strain, pastor of Bethel Baptist Church, the Rev. E.O. Williams of Coushatta and the Rev. Austin B. Tucker of Belcher, will officiate at the services.
Burial will be in Forest Park.
Pallbearers will be Gene Hick, Johnny Bryan, O.A. Netherton, Harold E. Bland, Dr. Kenneth L. Purcell and Joe Parker.
