The Indianapolis Star, June 18, 1933, reads: "RAY - Katie, beloved wife of Charles Ray, mother of Mrs. Ray Welch and Harry Ray, daughter of Mrs. Cecilia Rogers, Los Angeles, Cal.; sister of Mrs. Alice Jones of Los Angeles, Cal.; Mrs. Elizabeth Tuck of St. Louis, Mo.; James Rogers of Nashville, Ill., and Mrs. Tillie Zink of this city, passed away Saturday, June 17. Funeral notice later. Friends may call at the residence, corner of Ellenwood and Epler, six miles south on Meridian St. Take West Edgewood bus. For information, call FINN BROS. FUNERAL HOME, TA. 1835."
