Ernest Jett, 57, 1316 Yale Ave., retired employee of Butterfield Canning Co., died Tuesday night at Ball Hospital after a long illness. He had lived in Muncie for the past 35 years and he was a native of Ohio.
Mr. Jett leaves his wife, Florence; two sons, Charles T. and Ernest L., both of Muncie; a daughter, Mrs. Evelyn Fluhr, of Muncie; two sisters, Mrs. Nellie Gordon, Converse, and Mrs. Effie King , Muncie; six brothers, George, Jake, Clarence, Gerald and Ray Jett, all of Muncie, and Earl Jett, of Texas, as well as 10 grandchildren.
Funeral services are being arranged at the Parson Mortuary and will be announced later.
