Funeral services for Mrs. Abbie W. Dorr, 88, a guest at the John B Parsons Home since 1949, will be held at the Home Monday at 10 a.m. Mrs. Dorr died suddenly at the Home Friday after suffering an apparent heart attack.
The Rev. Louis McKinney, pastor of the Allen Memorial Baptist Church, will officiate. Interment will be in Parsons Cemetery.
Mrs. Dorr was a member of Allen Memorial Church. She was born at Syracuse, N.Y. and was a daughter of the late Thomas T. and Abbie Corner King. Her late husband was Leonard Dorr.
There are no immediate survivors.
