David Bradley & Ellen Black were natives of Virginia & England.
Children: Jane, Jesse, Margaret, John, Sarah, Mary, Nancy, David, Ellen, Daniel & Ruth
During a six-week journey in 1826, David moved the family from North Carolina to Hendricks Township, Shelby County, Indiana. They then settled in Brandywine Township, Shelby County where they cleared & improved 160 acres of land for farming.
Ellen died in 1832, and David married Sarah Fields on 14 Mar 1833 in Shelby County, Indiana.
David died in 1843. After David died, Daniel took over the farm.
