Ida L. Colwell, 88, of 1028 Hillcrest died at 1:42 p.m. Friday, Jan. 14, 1994, at Methodist Medical Center in Peoria. Born May 6, 1905, in Sparland to Lawrence and Amelia Dusenhofer Beck, she married Harold D. Colwell on Oct. 25, 1925, in Henry. He died in 1963. One son, James Lee; four brothers; three sisters; and one grandson also preceded her in death. Surviving are two sons, Kenneth and Don, both of Chillicothe; three grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
