Wife Of Owen Watkins Dies Late Monday
Funeral Thursday For Wabash Township Woman, 53
Mrs. Ada Violet Watkins, 53, a resident of two and one-half miles northwest of Geneva, died at her home about 11:45 Monday night following a heart attack.
She was the daughter of Daniel and Dora (Imel) Wallace. On June 17, 1931, she was married to Owen Watkins, who survives with four daughters and two sons, Lowell W. Watkins, Sidney, Ohio, John E. Watkins at home; Mrs. David Robinson of R. R. 2, Geneva, Mrs. Larry Buckingham, Santa Ana, Calif., Miss Sharon E. Watkins and Miss Linda K. Watkins, both at home. Other survivors are three granddaughters, one grandson, five brothers and sisters, Mrs. Philo Bailey, Wayne Twp., Jay County, Wade Wallace, Dayton, Ohio, Robert Wallace, Portland, John Wallace, Pike Twp., Jay County, and Daniel Paul Wallace, Boundary. Two sisters and one brother are deceased.
Funeral services will be held Thursday at 1:30 p.m. at the Williamson & Spencer Funeral Home Chapel in Portland, Rev. Paul Temple of Geneva officiating. Burial will be in the West Lawn Cemetery, Geneva. Friends may call at the funeral home.
