B. Elliott Harrar, Jr.

Age 82 of Troutdale, VA and formerly of Bellefonte, Wilmington, DE, died Friday, February 18, 2000 in the Smyth County Community Hospital.

He was the son of the late Benjamin Elliott and Helen Vandever Harrar; brother of the late Francis Harrar; and half-brother of the late Henry Armstrong. He is survived by a brother and sister-in-law, Samuel L. and Mary Harrar of Faukland Heights, Wilmington, DE; 1 sister and brother-in-law, Laura and Jay Grubb of Troutdale, VA; several nieces and nephews.

Funeral Services will be held 11 am Wednesday, February 23 2000 from the Wharf Hill United Methodist Church in Sugar Grove, VA with Rev. Kenny Connor and Rev. Bill Hinton officiating. Interment will be in the Brandywine Hundred Cemetery in Wilmington, DE. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Wharf Hill U.M.C., Sugar Grove, VA.
