He was born February 2, 1914, in Lincoln County, a son of the late Kendrick Mullikin and Belle Monk Mullikin. He was a molder for Standard Brake Shoe Foundry at Pine Bluff. He was preceded in death by his wife, Florence Mullikin, who died February 15, 1995; five brothers, R.K. Mullikin, Frank Mullikin, Arthur Mullikin, Dee Mullikin, and Guss Mullikin; and three sisters, Chester Wynn, Esther Riley, and Grace Newman. Survivors include a son, John Mullikin of Star City; a daughter, Mary Lou Latourette of Houston; a brother, Jake Mullikin of Star City; two sisters, Margaret Scifres of White Hall, and Gladys Hall of Star City; and four grandchildren.
