Helen E. Lambrecht, 81, of New Prague, died at Mala Strana Nursing Home in New Prague at 7:25 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 11. She was born in Helena Twp., June 3, 1896 to Wm. and Sophie Dols Stocker.
May 20, 1919 she was married to Anthony J. Lambrecht in St. Joseph's Catholic Church in rural Jordan, where she had also attended school.
Mr. Lambrecht died some years ago. The couple had two sons and five daughters, one of whom died in infancy. Those surviving are: Melvin of Hendricks, Tony of Heidelberg, Lorraine (Mrs. Eddie Geis) and Severin (Mrs. Dan Breeggemann) of Shakopee, Jane (Mrs. Ray) Kalal of Prior Lake and Alice (Mrs. Charles Blaha) of New Prague. There are 20 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
Her parents and four brothers preceded her in death. The brothers were Herman, Edward, Philip and Frank Stocker.
Three brothers and four sisters survive: Lawrence Stocker of Shakopee, Joseph Stocker of Le Center, Alphonse Stocker of Jordan, Mayme Steinhoff and Clara (Mrs. Alfred Geis) of Shakopee, Lizzie Dorenkamper of Ivanhoe and Katie (Mrs. Florian Karl) of Jordan.
Mrs. Lambrecht, who had lived in Helena Twp., Jordan and New Prague, was a member of St. Ann's Christian Mother's Society of St. Benedict and the Catholic Ladies Guild of St. Wenceslaus of New Prague.
Wake was held at the Bruzek Funeral Home in New Prague. Funeral services were held at St. Wenceslaus Catholic Church at New Prague Friday, Oct. 14, at 10 a.m. with Rev. Raymond Zweber officiating. The Christian Mothers' Society attended in a group.
Casketbearers were Francis Vohnoutka, Dennis Schofield, Mark Tieben, Ken Lambrecht, Gary Kalal and Rick Lambrecht.
