The Surname of JENT, has been spelled with several differing variations. For instance, her fathers death record states GENT, whereas the Cemetery from some death records shows it spelled as GHENT. The siblings of Sarah True primarily have the last name spelled as JENT on their gravestones.

MRS. TRUE, 94, PASSES AWAY
Mrs. Sally Ann True, who celebrated her 94th birthday a month ago, was laid to rest in the Marion Cemetery Monday afternoon following funeral services conducted at Washington Avenue Baptist Church by the pastor, Rev. Jesse Powers.
Pallbearers were: Buford Howard, Elbert True, Harry Cash, Loy Barringer, Ira Troop, Clyde O'Daniell. Flower bearers were: Mesdames Lydia Atwood, Ollie Jobe, Mae McCormick, Thomas McPheron, Sevah Choate, Junior Groves, Ed Carter, Myra Frick and John Phillips.
Mrs. Sally H. True, daughter of Madison and Sally Jent, was born in Cheatham County, Tennessee March 27, 1842 and passed away May 2, 1936, aged 94 years, 1 month and 5 days. She was the third child of a family of 12 Children.
She was united in marriage to J.W. True in Tennessee on May 26, 1862 and they came to this community in 1863 where ten children have been born into their home, six girls and four boys, seven of which have preceded her in death. Her husband also passed away February 9, 1915 at the age of 75. She then made her home with her daughter Mrs. W.E. Groves until Mrs. Groves passed away. She lived with Mrs. Jennie Jones whom she had reared as an orphan. Mrs. Jones also passed away and since that time she had lived with her daughter Mrs. J.W. Sanders.
It was only fitting that she should have so many places to live as she had not only reared her own, but made a home for several orphans.
Mrs. True became a Christian many years ago and was a charter member of the Washington Avenue Baptist Church of Johnston City. She has been deaf for several years.

Cheatham County, Tennessee was organized in 1856, prior to the birth of Sarah Ann Jent. Presently, the Plantation owned by her grandfather, Charles Gent lies in Cheatham County, Tennessee, thus the reason for her birth place being referenced as Cheatham County. In 1842, it would have been Robertson County, TN.
