ARLTON DWAIN BOTTOMS, age 77 of Alvin, Texas passed away Thursday, September 23, 2010 at Clear Lake Regional Medical Center, Webster, Texas. Arlton was born on April 25, 1933 in Teague, Texas and was a resident of Alvin for 25 years, formerly of Balmorhea, Texas for 24 years. He was a heavy equipment operator for Brazoria County C R Prct. # 3 and a member of the Baptist faith. Arlton was preceded in death by his parents, Nathan and Ruby Bottoms, brothers, Kenneth Bottoms, Bill Bottoms, Bob Bottoms and sisters, Peggy Bottoms Strange, Linda Bottoms and Patsy Bottoms Ray.
Arlton is survived by his wife, Gwen Bottoms of Alvin, Texas, daughter, Debbie Bryan and husband, Clarence of Alvin, Texas, son, Carl Bottoms and wife, Debi of Alvin, Texas, sisters, Brenda Batson and husband, Jimmy of Alvin, Texas, Azalea Nowlin of Tyler, Texas, brother Larry Bottoms, Sr. and wife, Helen of Alvin, Texas, 6 grandchildren, James Bryan, Tera Norberg, Holly Campos, Carrie Bryan, Melinda Bryan and Whitney Bottoms, 4 great grandchildren, Austin Bryan, Kaitlyn Bryan, Zachary Norberg and Tristan Campos, numerous other relatives and friends.
