Albert M. Bissing, 88, 502 W. 12th. died Thursday, Nov. 22, at the Veterans Hospital in Leavenworth. He was born May 3, 1896, in Hays, the son of Justus and Elizabeth (Leikam) Bissing.
He was a World War I veteran and a member of the American Legion, VFW and St. Joseph Catholic Church. He was a retired manager of the former Treat Schaffer Lumber Co.
Survivors include one brother, Pete, Aurora, Ill.
Services were Monday at St. Joseph Catholic Church with Father Felix Petrovsky officiating; burial in St. Joseph Cemetery with graveside military honors by the American Legion.
