Mrs. Bertha Hale, 62, of Niagara Falls, N.Y., formerly of Gearhartville, died Tuesday, Dec. 21, at 3:25 a.m. at Niagara Falls Memorial Medical Center. Born Feb. 16, 1920, in Philipsburg, she was a daughter of John W. and Maria (Winters) Beach.
She was married to James C. Hale, who preceded her in death in 1956. She was also preceded in death by her twin sister, Laura Tedesco, in 1979. She was employed at Niagara Falls High School and was a member of the Church of the Redeemer, Niagara Falls, N.Y. She is survived by five children, James C. of Lancaster, Gordon of Heber Springs, Ark., Dennis of Hinnesville, Ga., and Mrs. Francis (Darlene) Palmer and Mrs. Helen Edwards, both of Niagara Falls; 13 grandchildren, two sisters, Mrs. Frank (Esther) Lucician of Cleveland, Ohio, and Mrs. Helen Askey of Philipsburg, and several nieces and nephews. Services will be Friday at 11 a.m. at the David K. Dahlgren Funeral Home, Philipsburg, with the Rev. Richard L. Schweinsburg Jr. officiating. Interment will be in the Philipsburg Cemetary. Friends will be recieived at the funeral home tomorrow from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. In Loving Memory, Bertha Hale (nee Beach), December 21, 1982.
