Herman Tafoya, 53, St. John died June 30, 2007 in Phoenix.
He was born Oct. 11, 1953, in St. Johns to Romolo and Mary P. Tafoya. Herman worked as a laborer for Sunt Construction. He loved fishing, doing leather work and crafts. He was a hard worker and loved to be with his family.
He is survived by his son, Mitchell Tafoya; brothers Lupe Tafoya, Joe Tafoya, Moises Tafoya, Ed Tafoya, Ralph Tafoya; sister Helen T. Pineda and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Romolo and Mary Tafoya; sisters Dulcie Candelaria and Lucille T. Baca.
A visitation will be held Sunday, July 8, at 6:30 p.m. at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in St. Johns. Funeral services will be held Monday July 9, at 10 a.m. also at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church. Interment will follow at the St. Johns Catholic Cemetery.
