According to Ira Peck's book she was from Swansey, MA. She and Comfort had 7 children: Ebenezer, Davis, Comfort III, Mary, Hannah, and Almira when they came to Newport from Seekonk, MA (now East Providence, RI) in 1801, and James who was born in Newport in 1803.

The following is thanks to John E. Sherman #47749330. Mary was born December 19, 1766 at Swansea, Bristol County, Massachusetts, died in 1815 and her parents are Benjamin Saunders and Mary Davis Saunders.
