Philip my grandfather came to the US from Italy in the early 1900's. He later asked by Italian custom for the hand of the girl he left behinds hand in marriage in Italy. Instead they sent her older sister which was Lucia Ricci Mandolare my grandmother who was her older sister.
They brought there italian culture to America and made a good life together and had 8 children and many grandchildren.
Philip was kindly man and a hard worker and a great story teller and always had his grandchildren around him and took great pride in his family.
He lived a long life 99 yrs, with his sons and daughters and family close by his side.
