Funeral services for George A. Antley, 72 of Monroe were held Monday December 28, 1954
at 2 p.m. at the Sikes Baptist Church. Interment followed in the Sikes cemetery under the direction of Southern Funeral Home of Jonesboro.
Antley died Saturday morning while on a hunting trip near Tallulah. He was a resident of
Sikes for many years prior to his removal to Monroe.
Survivors include his wife, Betty Johnson Antley; one son, H. A. Antley of Sikes; one
daughter, Mrs. Katherine Custer of Alta Dena, California; one grand daughter and one foster grand daughter.
