Born July 29, 1919, in Union Township, Adams County, she was the daughter of the late William Edward Bentzel and Carrie Mae (Leese) Bentzel.
Mrs. Buckley was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Broadway, Hanover. She was employed at Pennland Paper, Noel's Potato Chips, Tastyflake Potato Chips, and Utz Potato Chips.
Surviving are four daughters, Janet M. Buckley of Hummels Wharf, Patricia B. Carr and Carole B. Myers, both of Hanover, and Jacqueline L. Glass of Tracey, CA; two sons, Robert P. Buckley of Hanover, and Joel E. Buckley of Hershey; 19 grandchildren; and 19 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by two sisters, Lela Wentz Utz, and Gladys Day; three brothers, Preston Bentzel, John Bentzel, and Loy Bentzel; a son, Harry E. Buckley, Jr.; three grandsons, Michael Meyers, Nelson Meyers and Steven Carr; and two great-grandchildren, Caitlyn and Shane Topper.
Interment was in Rest Haven Cemetery, Hanover.
