Death of Harry R. Crawford
Died at His Home Last Saturday
After Long Illness.
Harry R. Crawford, who had been in failing health for a year and a half, died at his home in this city Saturday afternoon at 1:30. His fatal illness resulted from an attack of flu during the epidemic that swept the country, followed at a later period by typhoid fever and complications with tuberculosis of the throat.
Harry Crawford had lived in Kearney from childhood. He was for a considerable time one of the proprietors of the Normal Cash grocery.
Funeral services were held from the United Brethren church Monday afternoon at 1:30., Rev. A.P. Vannlea officiating.
The deceased was born in Philadelphia, Pa., June 14, 1877. Died Aug. 7, 1920. He is survived by a wife, a brother, Emmett Crawford of Pueblio Colo: a sister Mrs. Brown of Arnold, Nebr. and the following children: Harvard R., Emmett, Carl F., Thurman N., Clara H., Laurn F., Meen Ernest O. and Lorin.
