Mrs. Bessie Deal Dannelly, age 66, died unexpectedly Thursday morning, December 6, at her home on East Main St. in Statesboro. She was a life-long resident of Bulloch County and a member of the Fellowship Primitive Church.
She is survived by two sons, Allison Deal of Register, Ga. and W. B. Deal of Savannah; nine grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; two brothers, Brooks DeLoach of Ellabell and Clayton of Savannah; two sisters, Mrs. Ruby Davis of Nevils and Mrs. Gussie Burnsed of Savannah; one half-brother, E. W. Deloach of Brooklet; two half-sisters, Mrs. Glennis Grindle of Washington, D.C. and Mrs. Norma Goff of Plymouth, Fla., and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services were held Friday afternoon, December 7, at 4:00 o'clock from the Fellowship Primitive Baptist Church near Stilson with Elder W. A. Crumpton and Elder H. C. Stubbs officiating.
Burial was in the church cemetery. The following nephews served as active pallbearers: Dorman DeLoach, C. B. DeLoach, Jackie DeLoach, Arden Deloach, Robert DeLoach, Robert DeLoach and Mondel Deloach. Barnes Funeral Home.
