Funeral services for Mrs. Carrie Mae Taylor Miller, 84, were held Monday, December 12, 1988 at 2pm in the Chapel of Woodbury Funeral Home with Bro. Bobby Zumbro and Bro. Thomas Earl Nichols officiating the service. Burial followed at Cherry Cemetery with Woodbury Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Miller died Saturday, December 10, at Woodbury Nursing Center following an extended illness. A member Burt Baptist Church, she was a housewife. Mrs. Miller was the daughter of the late Alf Taylor and Sarah Jones Taylor. Her husband was the late Charlie Miller.
Survivors include two sons, Willie Houston and Charles Miller Jr, both of Woodbury; two daughters, Wardine Miller Melton and Margaret Elizabeth Miller Anderson, both of Woodbury; a brother, Woodrow Taylor of Muncie, Ind.; Nell Taylor St. John and Irene Taylor Tenpenny, both of Muncie, Ind.; and Edith Taylor Mertz of Corunna, Ind.; 10 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren and 3 great great grandchildren.
