Services for Charlie E. Miller, 86, were conducted Wednesday, June 18, 1986 at 2 pm in the chapel of the Woodbury Funeral Home with Rev Bobby Zumbro and Rev Thomas Nichols officiating the service. Burial was at Cherry Cemetery with Woodbury Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
A native of Cannon County, Mr. Miller died Monday, June 16 at Stones River Hospital following an extended illness. He was a retired farmer and a member of the Burt Baptist Church. He made his home on McBroom Street and was the son of the late Jim Miller and Elizabeth Heatherly Miller.
Survivors include his wife, Mrs.Carrie Mae Taylor Miller of Woodbury; two sons, Willie Houston and Charlie Miller Jr both of Woodbury; two daughters, Mrs. Wardine Melton and Mrs. Elizabeth Anderson, both of Woodbury; two brothers, Edward Miller of Murfreesboro and Odie of Woodbury and a sister, Mrs. Lady Smithson of Paris, Ill. 10 grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren and 4 great great grandchildren.
