Myers b.abt 1810 in Barren Co., KY & d.aft 18 Jun 1880 in Leatherwood, Adair, KY and who were married 3 Apr 1884 in Green Co., KY.
Amanda married Joseph Marion Akin on 16 Dec 1873 in Adair Co., KY. Joseph was b.9 Feb 1842 in Adair Co., KY & d.16 Feb 1924 in Elroy, Adair, KY.
Amanda and Joseph only had one child that I am aware of, who was:
1. Wyatt Kibbin Akin b.23 Sep 1874 in Adair Co., KY & d.23 Aug 1941 in Adair Co., KY.
Marriage #1: Married Minerva Ellen Gabbert aka Minnie on 14 Jan 1898 in Adair Co., KY.
Marriage #2: Married: Mary Ellen Thompson abt 1928 in Adair Co., KY.
2. Zavada Quintilla Akin (Female) b.Feb 1878 in Adiar Co., KY & d.30 Oct 1878 in Adair Co., KY.
I have to admit, quite a strange name to pick for a child.
Married #3: There is a possibility that Wyatt was married or had a child prior to the above two marriages. I am still researching this.
Amanda and Joseph are both buried in Gowen Cemetery, not Antioch Cemetery as previously shown.
