Albert Seelke was born near Rockdale and had lived his entire life in and near this place. On December 9, 1909, he was married in Rockdale to Miss Freda Marie Luetge, and four children were born to the couple. Two sons preceded their parents in death. Mr. Seelke was a well known carpenter for many years. He retired several years ago. He had been confined to his bed for the past six months, and died early on a Monday in his home. He was preceded in death by two infant sons.
