Weddings (Marriage to 1st wife)
The Shrine of the Sacred Heart was the scene of a pretty wedding Wednesday morning at 8 o'clock, when Miss Rose Marie Carroll, daughter of Mrs. Mary Carroll, became the bride of Mr. Andrew Clinton Seitz. Rev. Father Hurney performed the ceremony following the mass. The bride wore a gown of pearl gray faille taffeta and georgette crepe, beaded in cut steel, with a large white hat. Her bouquet was of lavender and white sweet peas. She was attended by Mrs. Charles T. May, aunt of the bridegroom, whose gown was of pleated white shantung silk with jacket effect of midnight blue silk. Her corsage bouquet was pink and white sweet peas. Mr. Charles T. May acted as best man.
A breakfast followed at the home of their aunts, the Misses Hunter, in Otis place. The house was beautifully decorated with a profusion of pink and white roses and ferns.
Mr. and Mrs. Seitz left later for a short wedding trip, the latter wearing a suit of pink linen with hat to match. They will be home at 1217 Otis Place Northwest.
