Irene Hearn, 95, of Independence, MO, went to be with her Lord on September 16, 2010. Visitation will be held from 10:00-11:00 a.m. Saturday, September 18, at Mt. Moriah & Freeman Funeral Home, 10507 Holmes Rd. followed by graveside service at 11:00 a.m. in Mt. Moriah Cemetery. Mrs. Hearn was born October 27, 1914 in Kansas City, MO, daughter of Verne Hood and Hazel (Embrey) Ragan. She was a member of Armour Heights Baptist Church. Mrs. Hearn was owner of Hearn Bus Service and Hearn McAllister Service Station, retiring in 1999. She was preceded in death by her husband Charles Wesley Hearn, son Claude Wesley Hearn and grandson Todd Wesley Willis. She will be missed by her loving children Barbara Willis (Neil) and Charles William Hearn (Beverly), grandchildren Kevin, Karen, David, Jeff, Steven, Gary, Allison and Kristin, and 17 great-grandchildren.
