~~OBITUARY~~

Forrest "Pete" Dugan, 81, of rural Camden, Died at 3 a.m., Sat., Feb. 27, 1988 at his home after a lengthy illness.

Funeral services were held at 1 p.m. today at the Orrick Baptist Church with the Rev. John Justice officiating. Burial was in Richmond Memory Gardens under the direction of Gowing Funeral Home of Orrick.

Pallbearers were Bob Spor, Harold Slim William, Oswald Tanner, Wilbur Werle, Russell Brookshier and Harvey Spor.

Mr. Dugan was born April 3, 1906 north of Orrick, the son of Ade and Roxie Bell (Williams) Dugan. He was a lifelong Ray County resident.

He was married to Elnora Ross of Orrick on Feb. 21, 1930. She survives of the home.

Other survivors include a son, Wayne Dugan of Camden, a daughter, Mary Louise Schroeder of North Kansas City; three brothers, Kenneth Dugan of Clovis, N. M., Joseph Eldon Dugan and Roy Keith Dugan of Orrick; a sister, Fern Robinson of Orrick; three grandchildren and two great grandchildren.

A son died at birth, and a sister, Obie Ballard, died in 1979.

Mr. Dugan had been a farmer and had worked at the Northwest Electric Cooperative power plant at Missouri City in Clay County. He also worked for the Prairie Dehydrating Co. in Floyd and Henrietta 22 years before he retired in 1967. He was a member of the Orrick Christian Church.
