The daughter of James Walrod, 1797, and niece of John J. and Rachael A. Walrod who are also interred in this cemetery.

The 1860 census has their children Susan, 5, and Angeline, 4.

1880 has Susan and Angeline still at home with Cora B., 7; their son-in-law, Thomas Chapman and his son, William 3, are also in the household. He likely married another daughter who has died; the 1900 census does state she had 4 children and 3 of them were alive.

Betsy Ann Walrod Brown was born in New York April 25th, 1835; came to Iowa in 1845; died in Maquoketa March 8th, 1912. A Territorial Pioneer.
The daughter of James Walrod, 1797, and niece of John J. and Rachael A. Walrod who are also interred in this cemetery.
