In 1849 Hannah married John Brantingham at the local Friends Meeting in Marlborough. They lived with John's mother, Margaret Holloway Brantingham, until 1854, when they moved to Cedar County, Ia. They moved back to the Marlborough area in 1859 "because of Indiana Yearly Meeting going to the (Gurney) separatists". John and Hannah built a house on McCallum Road, between Alliance and Marlborough, where Hannah lived until she died in 1899.
